1. Elevating Boat/Jackup Rig:
This Elevating Boat, or "Jackup Rig", is a single screw diesel self propelled craft constructed of steel that has 4 elevating vertical legs, which elevate the hull out of the water eliminating effects of wind, waves and tides.
Since it is self-propelled there is no need for costly tugboats and with its simplistic design practically anyone can operate it.
Shallow water is not a problem, the vessel is designed to carry a deck load of approximately 9,000 pounds and the shallow draft offers full maneuverability. The legs provide the capability of elevating the hull out of the water as deep as the 45 foot legs will reach to handle most river rigs, sand blasting and painting equipment on the deck.
This boat also offers a stable working platform for drilling or other tasks that require independence of weather or wave action.
